Height: 5'2' Fun Fact: I make video games! Bio: Roller skating is in my blood. My parents met at a roller rink, and growing-up my mom worked at a rink teaching classes. I began skating at 20 months. When I found out about roller derby I could hardly contain my excitement. Roller skating was my quirky, closet talent like extreme yo-yoing or playing the nose flute, so I never imagined I would be able to put my skating skills to use. I joined the Pikes Peak Derby Dames in 2009, but after one year skating I was too injured to continue to play and get hit. When I moved to Maryland I decided to skate as an official. It was a great decision. I love skating, the sport of roller derby, and being a part of CCRG. |
